Cashier/Store Clerk

Part Time/Full Time

Flexible Hours, Evenings and Weekends Required



  • Provide excellent customer service by welcoming customer, assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Complete customer transactions on the cash register.
  • Reconcile cash register drawers at the end of the shift and maintain accurate and complete paperwork.
  • Ensure the appearance of the store is pleasing to the customer.
  • Stock store shelves and end caps, nips, cigarettes and lottery tickets every shift.
  • Ensure the proper identification is produced when selling alcohol, tobacco, and lottery tickets.
  • Put up signs that identify items on sale in weekly advertisements and take down this signage when the sale is over.
  • Assist with price markdowns and changes for merchandise on the shelves.
  • Must be flexible, organized, and willing to work as part of a team.

Full Time, Weekends Required

  • Organize all store operations and delegate responsibilities to personnel.
  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance.
  • Monitor stock levels on shelves, keep store looking presentable.
  • Customer Service including customer satisfaction/customer complaints and the maintenance of the store’s reputation.
  • Inspect all areas of the store and resolve issues that arise
  • Oversee store’s promotional events/tastings
  • Keep abreast of marketing trends and customer requests for product to determine the need for improvement in the store
  • Ensure store maintains all legal health and safety standards
  • Welcome customer to store, answer questions, provide customer assistance, knowledge of returns, check cashing, and POS purchases.
  • Opening and Closing Responsibilities



  • Prior experience as a retail manager
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Outstanding communication
  • Excellent organizational and Leadership skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or Sales preferred but not required
